Imade Adeleke, Sophia Momodu Singer, Davido’s first daughter, Imade Aurora Adeleke graduated from Kindergarten on Monday and she received a bike gift from her dad to celebrate the feat. The 5-year-old took to her Instagram page to share some cute photos of herself as she moves up from kindergarten. One of the photos shows the young lad posing with a cake which had the inscription;  “congrats Imade on your graduation.” The little girl was spotted in another photo, flaunting her certificate and she was also seen posing on her cute bicycle. Her mum, Sophia Momodu also shared some moments from the virtual graduation ceremony. D’banj Mohammed Adamu , the Inspector-General of Police, has ordered the probe of the policemen who allegedly arrested singer, D’banj’s rape accuser, Seyitan Babatayo. According to reports, the singer and his team allegedly influenced the police decision to detain Seyitan without charging her to court. The order was contained in a letter titled; “Re: Petition Against Inspector Abraham, Supol Ugowe and the Entire Police Officers Team at Ikeja, Lagos Division of the Inspector General of Police”, the IGP asked that the petition from Seyitan Babatayo’s lawyer be addressed. The letter was signed on the IGP’s behalf by his Principal Staff Officer, DCP Idowu Owohunwa and addressed to the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Force Criminal Investigation Department, Garki. It is also sequel to a petition written by Seyitan’s lawyer, Ojoge, Omileye and Partners which alleges that policemen attached to the Intelligence Response Team arrested Seyitan on the directive of D’Banj and detained h

The kidnappers while being paraded by the police The Nigeria police force has confirmed the arrest of two suspected kidnappers in connection with the murder of a medical doctor named Audu Benedict, his son and one other. According to the statement, Benedict, 70, was kidnapped alongside Iramon, his son, aged 32; and Samaila Akenjinba, his associate, aged 30; while travelling from Takum in Taraba state to Abuja on March 10, 2019. For several months, the abducted persons were in captivity despite paying ransom to their abductors. But they were later killed. The suspects were identified as Henry Terkula, 25, and Terhile Tsavbe, a 30-year-old indigene of Benue state. Festus Keyamo The minister of state for labour and employment, Festus Keyamo has accused some politicians of trying to hijack the recruitment scheme into the special public works programme. Recall that the minister of finance, budget and national planning, Zainab Ahmed, announced in April that president  Muhammadu Buhari has approved the engagement of 774,000 Nigerians on the programme implemented by the National Directorate of Employment (NDE). A month later, Keyamo was credited as saying up to 10 percent slots of the beneficiaries of the programme in each state would be allotted to political office holders “like our distinguished senators, honourable members, ministers and governors”. Adams Oshiomhole A federal high court sitting in Abuja has adjourned a suit filed by the former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole seeking an injunction against his possible arrest over an indictment contained in a White Paper issued by the Edo State Government. The presiding judge, Justice Ahmed Mohammed on Monday adjourned the matter till July 7, because the 5th and 6th respondents had not been served with the processes. Oshiomhole approached the high court after the Edo state government set up an investigation committee to evaluate the construction of the Edo Specialist Hospital and supply of equipment for the hospital during the former APC chairman’s tenure as Edo State Governor.
